The 77-year-old Mrs. Fronczek only recently moved to Austerlitz. Her daughter lives there. Mrs. Fronczek comes from Hoogland, where she also enjoyed living, but where she missed the facilities for the elderly. “This is really a community where you can grow old happily,” she says, beaming while walking. “I have a nice senior home and all kinds of things are organized there. Today, on Monday, I go for a walk. On Tuesday I play bridge. On Wednesday we eat together in the evening. On Thursday you can do gym and meditate again, but I don’t do that. Then I’m tired!”
