Charlotte Baris: It was a year ago. On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched an unprecedented assault on Israel, killing more than 1,160 people, the majority civilians. In a few hours, the images went around the world. That day, 251 people were also taken hostage and taken to the Gaza Strip. Before Israel goes further by bombing the region. This is a new turning point in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which has lasted for more than 70 years…

Four months later, on February 7, Emmanuel Macron paid a national tribute to the French victims of the attack. He promises to ensure security in the Middle East, in front of their portraits exhibited in the courtyard of the Invalides. But the Jewish community is also worried about the repercussions in France. And rightly so. In the days following the attack, attacks and threats increased. So what is the situation a year later, and how has the State reacted? The answer in this episode.
