Yemen’s Houthi rebels say they will continue to fire robots and drones at Israel if the country continues to wage war against Hamas in Gaza.
– The Yemeni armed forces confirm that they will continue to carry out robot and drone attacks until the end of the Israeli aggression, reads the statement from the rebels, which was broadcast on Tuesday on the al-Masirah TV channel, which is controlled by the rebels.
The Houthi rebels also claim responsibility for three separate attempted drone strikes against Israel.
Israel’s defense announced earlier on Tuesday that a drone that appeared to have been heading towards the resort town of Eilat had been shot down. The drone did not have time to reach Israeli airspace.
The Houthi movement, like Palestinian Hamas, is allied with Israel’s arch-enemy Iran.
