Speaking to Entertainment Weekly recently, Cooke admitted how much the meme haunted her:
I hated it for a long time. I was in a pub. A woman opened the door and said in a thick Spanish accent, “Stunnin’!” I thought, oh my god, over a decade of work reduced to a single word in my lexicon.
Cooke has since grown fond of the meme, which was at least created by the two co-stars’ lovely chemistry. However, when Entertainment Tonight recently asked her on the red carpet whether she wanted to become a meme again in a similar way, the Alicent actress clearly said with a slight smile: “I would rather die.”
Actors may have little say in what gets funny and remixed online, but perhaps after season 2 of House of the Dragon, it will be another co-star’s turn to become a meme.
