Game of Thrones fans are starving. Three years after the end of the parent series and dozens of spin-off ideas later, the prequel series House of the Dragon finally came in the summer of 2022. Since then, the community has been looking forward to Season 2. And must endure with this joy for a while.House of the Dragon season 2 has fantasy fans waiting

HBO executive Casey Bloys told Variety that a Season 2 release in 2024 “a good assessmentAccording to him, the season could no longer be submitted for the next Emmys. The Emmys are still accepting nominees for the awards ceremony until the end of May 2024, so new episodes of House of the Dragon presumably only appear in the summer of 2024.

This is a major disappointment for fantasy fans still thinking about the Game of Thrones release scheme. Anyway replenishments appeared every year from the fantasy parent series through Season 8.

A good script is my priority” Bloys explained. “I don’t wanna do it then two or three [Game of Thrones-Serien] to have per year. I do it because of the scripts we’re looking forward to. House of the Dragon fans will be sick of waiting. But they too will appreciate the ambition for quality.
