The penultimate episode of the second season of House of the Dragon has reached us and has caused great excitement among fans. Episode 7 currently has a rating of 9.1 out of 10 on IMDb, making it the second best-rated episode of the entire season behind episode 4. On Metacritic, the episode entitled The Red Seed even lands a rating of 8.3/10. in the top position of the season so far.

Fantasy fans then took to X (formerly Twitter) to discuss the new House of the Dragon episode. New dragon riders, aesthetic shots and Rhaenyra’s (Emma D’Arcy) army of bastards were particularly popular.

No Kriston Kraut for an entire episode. Hugh and Ulf are now dragon riders for the good guys. Daemon talked to humans. There’s a new Lord Tully. Ended with the following scene. A quality episode.

Another fan also joined in the praise for the final scene of the episode, in which Rhaenyra is seen on Dragonstone in front of her dragon army: “Best scene of the series!!!!”
