The question of succession dominates House of the Dragon. From the beginning of the series, those in power in Westeros have tried to have a say in who will die upon the death of King Viserys (Paddy Considine). Iron Throne takes up space. In the end, two figures emerged to take over the legacy.
Princess Rhaenyra (Milly Alcock) was promised the throne by her father. Although Viserys a weak ruler he seems to be showing strength in this decision at least. But then there’s Prince Daemon (Matt Smith), who won the battle for the Trittseine and is now back in King’s Landing.
House of the Dragon just keeps getting better

The next episode of House of the Dragon will be released in Germany on September 19, 2022 and marks the halfway point of Season 1. So a lot can still happen before we can be sure who will prevail in the fight for the Iron Throne.
