Motorists traveling Tuesday on Cockshutt Road in the County of Brant came across something you don’t see every day.
A house being moved on a trailer ended up in the ditch near McGill Road just before 11 am due to a mechanical failure.

Brant OPP said there are no injuries or damage to the roadway, however damage to the house can’t be determined until it is removed.
The road was not closed but heavy equipment was on scene for the removal process. Traffic was expected to be limited on Cockshutt Road until the work is finished.
OPP are not laying charges, however the MTO is conducting its own investigation.
