Since last night, the city hotel in Skänninge has been cordoned off.
Now the police announce that seven people have been arrested on suspicion of serious drug offences.
– We have an ongoing operation that has been going on since yesterday, says Lennart Ahlin, officer on duty.
The police cordoned off the Stadshotellet during Friday. Several patrols, dog handlers and forensics have worked at the scene.
On Saturday morning, the police were able to admit that it was a “serious crime” and that several people have been detained.
Now the police announce that six men and one woman have been arrested, suspected of serious drug offences. The men are between 26 and 63 years old, the woman is in her 20s.
– Now there will be a technical investigation and information gathering, says Lennart Ahlin.
