There was an attack on the US base in Syria. According to information obtained from local sources, the base at Harab Cir Airport in Hasakah’s Yarubiye town, where US forces are stationed, was targeted with UAVs and rockets.
No statement was made regarding the attack. Iranian-backed terrorist groups located on the western bank of the Euphrates River attacked the Omar Oil Field Base, where US forces were stationed, with rockets on February 28, 2024.
IRAN-SUPPORTED GROUPS ARE ATTACKING
In Syria, attacks have recently been carried out on the bases where the US army is deployed in the Tenef region, Malikiyye district close to the Iraqi border, Shaddadi district of Hasakah province and Deir ez-Zor province, with armed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of unknown origin and ground-to-surface weapons. Iranian-backed groups occasionally attack US bases on the east bank of the Euphrates River with rockets, UAVs and UCAVs. (AA-IHA)
