The two young people had made the plan the day before. One of them would play hostage and together they would take one of the resident’s cars and escape.
However, the plan quickly fell apart. Even the employees didn’t believe the hostage drama was real, so they never even opened the doors and just called the police.
The 17-year-old who held the “knife” is convicted of vandalism because he kicked and broke furniture and window panes in the ward during the escape attempt. He must also pay just over 17,000 in damages.
