Proceeds from the Holiday 50/50 will support the areas of greatest need at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance’s Chatham and Wallaceburg sites, the foundation added.
“Our summer 50/50 campaign always receives tremendous support from across Chatham-Kent, so we are very excited to launch our new Holiday 50/50 to see how high this jackpot will get,” said Christine Colautti, CKHAF president & CEO in the release.
“With the holiday season quickly approaching, we are so profoundly grateful for the ways in which this community supports our foundation and hospital,” she added. “We love holding 50/50s like this one, because it offers us a chance to give back by handing out some awesome prizes to members of our community who support us year in and year out.”

Early bird draws will be held every Thursday throughout the campaign, when lucky winners will receive some fantastic prizes donated by local businesses.
- The first early bird draw will take place Nov. 30, with the winner receiving a $500 cash prize donated by Kent & Essex Mutual Insurance.
- The second Early Bird Draw is Dec. 7, with the winner receiving a 75L Chilly Moose Explorer Cooler, donated by Schinkels’ Gourmet Meats.
- The final early bird draw will be De. 14, with the winner receiving a two-night stay at The Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Montreal, donated by TTI Travel, along with $1,000 in travel cash.
Anyone who purchases a ticket before 1 pm on these draw dates will automatically be entered into the early bird draws, and early bird prize winners will still be eligible to win the grand prize jackpot, the foundation said.
