Utrecht – The horse race on the Utrecht Maliebaan will continue on September 24. The municipality wanted to prevent this with a view to animal welfare, but has insufficient legal grounds to reject the subsidy application. The judge decided this after an objection from the organization. The subsidy has now been awarded under the ‘Utrecht 900’ scheme.
