Hellraiser is a cult. The horror film series is best known for its unique mythology about a magic cube that summons nightmarish slayer creatures called cenobites into our dimension. The veteran franchise is set to be continued with a new Hellraiser soon. In the first few images, the horror figure #1 returns with Pinhead. But very different than ever before.

Jamie Clayton is Pinhead’s first female portrayal
As the pictures show, Jamie Clayton will play Pinhead for the first time by a woman. The regular and fan favorite was previously Doug Bradley, who has portrayed the grisly master of torture in seven of the 10 films in the series since the first Hellraiser. To portray the character with feminine features corresponds to Barker’s original novel (via Screenrant).
The new Hellraiser is said to be about a young drug addict who accidentally summoning the cenobites to earth. In addition to Clayton, the cast includes Hiam Abbass (Blade Runner 2049) and Drew Starkey (Love, Simon).
When is the horror film Hellraiser coming to Germany?
In the US, Hellraiser is slated to come to streaming service Hulu on October 7, 2022, which is not available in Germany. Where and when the horror cracker will appear in this country is not known. A Disney+ launch is conceivable, for example, since Disney owns shares in Hulu.
