Kevin Philipp, who was paragliding in the Organya region of Spain, died as a result of the wind entangling the ropes of his parachute. Sharing the images of those moments on his social media account, Philipp said that he had various difficulties due to “strong turbulence” while performing the aerobatic movement. Stating that there were snags in the connections of the parachute at that time, Philipp stated that for this reason it became difficult to open the spare parachute.
AVOID DEATH IN SECONDS
Philipp, who was about to crash from a height of meters, was saved when his spare parachute opened a second before the fall. “It wasn’t a day to die, thank you,” said Philipp, pointing to the tangled strings of his parachute after landing.
