A new week is starting for the SELL and the GfK institute, which are not failing in their task despite the end of the summer holidays. We therefore take a look at the sales of PC and console games for Week 33, the one that corresponds to the period from August 15 to 21, 2022. This is a pivotal week in the sense that it is the one where all of France almost stops working. But for the video game lover, this is an opportunity to consolidate sales of the Nintendo Switch and its sure values for years. In first position, we therefore find more or less the same titles as the previous week. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe dominates the Top 5, followed by Mario Strikers Battle League Football, Nintendo Switch Sports and Animal Crossing New Horizons, the bestsellers of the Kyoto firm’s hybrid console. Small change for the 5th and last place, since Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is ejected from the Top 5 visible to make way for Horizon 2 Forbidden West, in its PS5 version.
On PC, there is no change since last week, these are the same games that we find again, and in the same order, namely Farming Simulator 22, The Sims 4: High School Years and The Sims 4 in standard edition.
