Honor CEO George Zhao gave a keynote address on innovation and evolution in the world of mobile phones. During his speech, he announced that his company will launch the new Honor Magic V2 on July 12.
When Honor launched the Magic Vs, it was an improvement over the original Magic V, with a 10% lighter body and overhauled hinge. The CEO hasn’t explained what will make the V2 so revolutionary, but we expect the company to meet some of the drawbacks of previous models. We’re aiming to see waterproofing, some wireless charging, and more features folded in half.
We saw the date of July 12 in the news shared last week. The reports claimed that LTPO AMOLED will have higher refresh rate with high frequency PWM dimming.
The phone may come in two versions, one being the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 that came out last summer and the other being the current flagship chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
