Sara Palani has collected stories from young people she has met, who have been subjected to various types of honor oppression. The examples should be used as educational material to show different types of honor conflicts.
“Go deeper into the cause”
The aim is for the municipality’s employees, including teachers in the municipality’s schools, to become better at identifying when honor is the cause of a conflict between, above all, young people, and thus connect the right efforts.
– We must get better at going deeper into the cause of the conflict instead of scratching at the surface, says Sara Palani.
The educational project runs until April 2023.
