The Hongqi LS7, which will play to the heights of luxury in the Chinese market, takes the face we know from the passenger versions to a new dimension.
Challenging the European premium manufacturers with the Far East-based models, Hongqi made a name for himself in 2021. Finally, the Chinese manufacturer, which has attracted attention by introducing a model in the super sport segment with the S9 model, seems determined to continue the challenges this year as well. With the LS7 it has introduced, the brand, which is at the top of the SUV segment this time, wants to raise the bar one more level with the parts it uses especially on the cockpit side. The Hongqi LS7, which has its exterior design lines from the sedan model to its aunt, will be shown for the first time as part of the Beijing Auto Show.

For now, the LS7, which is planned to be offered for sale only with a gasoline engine option, has a 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 machine under the hood. With this engine, which produces 365 PS power and 550 Nm torque, the maximum speed that the vehicle can reach is limited to 200 km/h. When we look at the dimensions, we see 5,695 millimeters in length, 2,095 millimeters in width, 3,309 millimeters wheelbase and 1,985 millimeters in wheelbase. In order to better understand these values, it is worth noting that the LS7 is even longer than the Mercedes-Maybach GLS. The LS7, which has been announced to start sales in China as of the third quarter of 2022, seems to attract attention with its rather ambitious price tag of $235,000.
