The government demanded “firm and exemplary sanctions” after homophobic chants sung during the PSG-OM match which took place on Sunday September 24. Homophobic chants are regularly sung in stadiums in France, where a controversy took place last season over the refusal by several players to wear a jersey with rainbow printing.
