Home cinema launch of Avatar 2 probably spoils 2 big

In the US, the blockbuster hit Avatar 2: The Way of Water has now been released as a digital home theater version. In addition to James Cameron’s sci-fi spectacle, which lasts more than three hours, extensive bonus material is also available.

This includes one two and a half hour documentary about the world of Pandora. However, this bonus may have been put together prematurely because it is said to contain major spoilers for Avatar 3.

Script page in Avatar 2 documentary may contain major spoilers for part 3

According to Comic Book, a Reddit user took a very close look at the new Avatar 2 documentary. One screenplay page caught his eye. Here you can read various information that only affects the upcoming third part of the sci-fi series.

Even if the information could come from a rejected screenplay version and is generally not officially confirmed, we carry it the two biggest, spoiler-heavy revelations here for you:

  • Jake Sully and Colonel Miles Quaritsch seem to get along because of her relationship with Spider. Quaritch is the boy’s biological father while he was raised by Sully on Pandora. The relationship between the main character and the previous villain is said to remain tense, but an agreement is likely to be reached.
  • Spider can now independently breathe the air on Pandorawithout needing his respirator.
  • The script will also reveal that the Sully family has returned to High Camp, their original home. Also, former Navy avatar Wainfleet is said to still be alive. Finally, there is talk of a new character named Va’ru.

It remains to be seen whether these alleged leaks will turn out to be official Avatar 3 information. The next part of James Cameron’s sci-fi franchise is scheduled to be released in German cinemas December 18, 2024 start.
