The upcoming Norfolk Home and Lifestyle Show aims to be educational and entertaining.

“When we started putting the program together we thought about the kinds of exhibits and events that we’d like to see,” said Karen Matthews, executive director of the Simcoe and District Chamber of Commerce. “We haven’t had something like this for four years and we wanted to create a kind of ultimate home and lifestyle show for Norfolk.”

More than 80 vendors are participating as well as some high profile presenters, she said.
The show takes place March 1-3 at the CIBC AUDitorium at the Norfolk County Fairgrounds.
Previously known as Springarama, the home and lifestyle show begins Friday at 4 pm with Norfolk Mixology 101 featuring Pure Spirits, Cheers! and Blueberry Hill Estates/Front Road Cellars.
The show also includes presentations starting with Kayak Fishing by Jason and Trevor Barnucz and Owen Brock at 11 am on Saturday. They will be followed by interior designer Shai DeLuca at 1 pm and 3 pm

On Sunday, Darren Heimbecker, owner, founder and designer of Whistling Gardens, a botanical garden in Wilsonville, will be speaking at 11 am He will be followed by Frank Ferragine, also known as Frankie Flowers, from CityTV at 1 pm
Many trades and construction services will have exhibits including flooring, glass and roofers. Businesses that install mobility equipment, pools and spas are also participating, Matthews said.
The show will also feature a young entrepreneurs section in partnership with MHN Lawyers.
“We’re really excited about this new venture because it gives young entrepreneurs in our community an opportunity to showcase their products or services,” Matthews said. “Entrepreneurship is something that we want to foster in the community.”
Matthews said the chamber is grateful for the support it has received from sponsors.
Aspira Retirement Living is sponsoring DeLuca’s appearance while Eising Garden Center is sponsoring Ferragine. Whistling Gardens is sponsoring Heimbecker’s appearance and Oldies 99.6 is sponsoring the kayak fishing presentation.
Admission to the show is $5 and free to kids and students.
