BILTHOVEN – The ladies of SCHC from Bilthoven have started the second half of the season with a 2-4 victory at HGC. The hockey players of Kampong have started less well. Van and at hdm lost 2-1.
SCHC is second in the main division after 14 matches. Kampong is the number seven. The Utrecht team are six points behind in fourth place. The top four will enter the play-offs for the national title at the end of the season.
Zerbo guides SCHC to victory
Via Milagros Fernández Ladra, HGC took a 1-0 lead in the seventh minute. Ginella Zerbo took care of the 1-1 on behalf of the Bilthoven team in the 24th minute. Eleven minutes later, HGC took the lead again. Isis van Loon made it 2-1.
In the 43rd minute it was again Zerbo who equalized on behalf of SCHC. Six minutes later, Xan de Waard gave the Bilthoven team a 2-3 lead. In the 52nd minute, Zerbo made her third of the afternoon and scored the 2-4 final score.
Kampong loses lead
Kampong still took a 0-1 lead against hdm. Vanessa Blockmans made the 0-1 on behalf of the Utrecht team in the 14th minute. Via hdm player Jip Dicke it was already 1-1 three minutes later. Belén van den Broek scored the winning goal for the home team in the 46th minute: 2-1.
