Now hockey icon Tommy Söderström rages against Maja Nilsson Lindelöf’s wife.

Just a few days after the wedding, Sweden gathered to play the World Cup in Russia, and Victor and Maja had to postpone the honeymoon.
Revealing the tears
Maja Nilsson Lindelöf tells in the program how he fell into tears.
– When he closed the door to leave on Monday morning, after exactly 36 hours of being married, I sat among all the flowers and presents in our apartment in Västerås and cried. It had been so happy and beautiful … and now Victor was on a flight to Russia. I felt a sadness about how we didn’t get to experience this time together, she says.
In the program, Maja Nilsson Lindelöf talks generally about the sacrifices the family is forced to make, and that you learn early on that football comes first.

But not everyone buys what Maja Nilsson Lindelöf says in her summer speech. On social media, the responses have sometimes been harsh, and a lot of it is about her being in a privileged situation. And Tommy Söderström, iconic hockey goalie in Djurgården and the NHL, agrees.
On Twitter, he directs both adamant and unexpected criticism towards the influencer Maja Nilsson Lindelöf.
“Phew life is hard sometimes. Marry that other date or year when it’s not the World Cup and that people work/are away at Christmas/New Year/children’s birthdays, it’s a lot of work that requires….PATHETIC,” he writes.
He then concludes the tweet:
“Why can’t anyone just say that we live the best privileged life”.
