Utrecht – The Dutch hockey association will further professionalize the main division (men and women), the highest competition level. The professionalisation includes the introduction of video referees in the semi-finals of the play-offs and minimum quality requirements for the participating associations. For example, there must always be played on a water field and stricter requirements will be imposed on lighting and facilities for the press and sponsors.
