The murder occurred in March this year and according to the verdict, the man stabbed his neighbor hundreds of times in the neck, throat and upper body. In total, it is about 250 cuts.
“The court finds that it is a serious crime, and it is a very reckless crime where the plaintiff felt both pain and fear of death,” says prosecutor Jessica Wenna to SVT News Västmanland.
In the judgment, the court also writes that the crime was characterized by planning and that it is beyond reasonable doubt that it was an act of impulse.
