“This could have gone really badly! Thankfully other staff present acted immediately and managed to avert further violence,” says head of forensic psychiatry Tina Fogelklou according to a press release.

The region has reported the incident to the police as attempted murder and drawn up an occupational injury report to the Swedish Work Environment Agency.
“It is always extremely unpleasant when events like this happen. Support and care for the affected employee and other staff present is very important in the aftermath,” says Tina Fogelklou.
