Hit a policeman in the head with a kebab roll – sentenced to prison

Hit a policeman in the head with a kebab roll

During the summer, a group of loud young men disturbed the guests at a hotel in Halmstad. A police patrol came to the scene and asked the young men to leave. Everyone listened, except one of the guys who was 19 years old.

Instead, he begins insulting the police with a lot of profanity, prompting the officers to intervene.

Then the 19-year-old allegedly hit one of the police officers in the back of the head with his kebab roll with his free hand, which Hallandsposten was the first to report on.

The police felt offended by the kebab attack

In the interrogation, which Hallandsposten took part in, the police described the kebab attack as offensive.

“I have to wipe sauce and food off the back of my head. Right then and there I am shocked by what happened and don’t really understand that he hit the food in the back of my head. I then feel that in my professional practice I should not have to endure something hitting a kebab roll or similar food in my head,” he said in the hearing.

That same evening, the 19-year-old steals a car and commits a burglary. He can be arrested after a short car chase.
