Historically high tax pressure in the country – Västmanland leaves the tax untouched

The total municipal tax rate in Sweden will hit a historic record next year, new statistics from Statistics Sweden show, and will be an average of 32.37 percent. Looking at the whole country, the tax increase is the highest in nine years. The reason is that the current government does not release more money to municipalities and regions, which means that the tax pressure in the municipalities increases.
