Germany, which expressed its support to Ukraine like almost all Western countries, but received a great reaction by only helping with helmets at the beginning of the war, made a historic decision and announced that it would provide heavy weapons aid.
It was stated that the European giant will ship heavy weapons, ammunition and Gepart tanks to Ukraine after the proposal was accepted by the parliament with 586 votes to 100.

Within the scope of the approved proposal, anti-aircraft weapons, heavy equipment and complex weapon systems will be sent to Ukraine. German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht recently announced that Gepart anti-aircraft tanks will be procured.
On the other hand, it was learned that there was an ammunition problem with the Gepart tanker. It has been reported that Germany is in search of the tanks, which are stated to have 23 thousand ammunition at the moment.
HARD RESPONSE FROM RUSSIA
After the move that made a sound in the world, the response from Russia was not delayed. Spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Zakharova, claimed that Western countries provoked Ukraine to attack Russia, and it was stated that if this attitude continues, the response will be harsh.
Peskov, on the other hand, argued that the weapons sent by the West threatened European security.
