His new film has been cut for a lower rating

With one of his latest films, Mark Wahlberg got hit by the once again daunting preparation in the headlines. For Stu, in which the Hollywood star embodies an overweight ex-boxer and priest, Wahlberg struggled through an extreme diet of 11,000 calories a day.

With a budget of $4 million, the film has been a moderate success so far, grossing $21 million at the box office. Nevertheless, Stu is coming again in one in the USA abridged version return.

Mark Wahlberg film cut short because of too many swear words

According to the Comic Book, a PG-13 version of Stu will be released again in the United States. This is due to the high use of swear words in the previous version, according to Kids-In-Mind for example around 40 times the F-word falls. As is well known, the USA is particularly sensitive to this issue, which is why the scissors were applied to Stu again.

In the film, which is based on a true story, Wahlberg plays a boxer who retires from the sport because of injuries and wants to become a priest. For the role, he ate, among other things, a dozen eggs, a dozen pieces of bacon and drank a glass of olive oil. You can see the violent result in an Instagram post from the actor:
