He wants to shoot another one, then it should be over. Quentin Tarantino has been promising for years that he only make 10 films and then quit his directing career want. In retirement, he would rather devote himself to his other passion as an author and write books.

Based on the novel version of his last film, Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood is Now the first non-fiction book by Tarantino appeared.

In his new book, Tarantino writes about 70s movies and his youth

Cinema Speculation is a Mix of film theory, film criticism and personal life story by Tarantino. In several chapters, the cult director writes, for example, about Paul Schrader’s Hardcore – A Father Sees Red, Martin Scorsese’s Taxi Driver and Bullitt with Steve McQueen.

To the Tarantino’s next film project there is no information yet. He recently became a father for the second time. Besides that, he seems to enjoy writing books more. We’ll probably have to wait a little longer until the director announces his final film.
