The mother of the teenager who disappeared in September 2023 was on the set of the show “Call for witnesses” this Tuesday evening on M6.
On September 23, 2023, Lina, 15, disappeared on the way between her home and the station in Bas-Rhin. Eight months later, still no trace of the teenager. An investigation into “kidnapping” and “sequestration” has been opened and research is continuing. But this Tuesday, May 28, the young girl’s mother launched a poignant call for witnesses on the set of the M6 program “Call for witnesses”. “I need to know how she is, to know where my child is. I need to understand,” explained the mother.
Asked about her feelings, Fanny Groll confided: “My instinct as a mother, my guts, my heart [me disent] that she is alive.” Returning to the day of the disappearance of her only daughter, she quickly ruled out the hypothesis of a voluntary disappearance. “She left with just her clothes on,” she said. remarked, also assuring: “It was going very well and she was really happy. The young girl was to join her boyfriend in Strasbourg for a romantic shopping day. To this day, the theory of kidnapping seems favored, that of. the accident having also been quickly ruled out.
Convinced that her daughter had been kidnapped and would be held by kidnappers, Fanny Groll said she thought “that the people who kidnapped her knew perfectly well what they were doing”. “I think it’s not a coincidence. We don’t pass by there by chance, it’s a route we take because we know it, it’s people who knew it would be there, who knew she lived there,” she believes.
