7-year-old Metahan Doğanay, who got sick at his grandmother’s house in Erbaa, Tokat, where he went for summer vacation, experienced sore throat, high fever and weakness. Little Metahan, who was brought to the nearest hospital by his family, was taken to Ankara Bilkent City Hospital by his family, as the first diagnoses revealed a suspicion that he might have leukemia. Metehan, who started receiving chemotherapy, continues his treatment in the hospital. Some types require it. If the disease has recurred or there is one of the bad mutations, these patients need a marrow transplant.
