Former Australian reporter Charlotte Mortlock started noticing that her heart was beating faster than before after she had the coronavirus last month. The former reporter, who went to the doctor considering the warnings given by his smart watch, experienced the shock of his life.
HOW LONG DOES COVID LAST?
The woman, who realized that some things in her body were not going as they should, thanks to her smart watch that monitors sleep tracking, oxygen in the blood and heart rate, took her breath away from the doctor.
Noticing that her heart rate has been high since the Covid test was negative, the woman stated that her doctor had done various tests against these symptoms. It remains unclear how long these symptoms will last in a woman who has been diagnosed with covid for a long time.
Saying that she stopped drinking coffee in order to control her fast-paced pulse, the woman shared her experiences on her social media account. Under Charlotte Mortlock’s post, several people wrote that they had similar symptoms after receiving the Covid vaccine.
Doctors stated that some people with coronavirus may show symptoms called long covid.
WHAT IS LONG COVID?
The guideline for healthcare professionals in the UK states that a diagnosis of long-term Covid can be made if symptoms of Covid, whether mild or severe, persist even 12 weeks after the infection started and there is no other cause.
