It was relatives who alerted the police that a man in his 80s had been attacked and stabbed from behind in Hässelby beach on Wednesday evening.
The sudden event has left the man in shock, says his grandson, who chose to remain anonymous.
– He just heard someone run up behind him and stab him in the back.
A suspect under the age of 15 has been taken into custody and will be interviewed by the police. According to SVT’s information, the suspect can be linked to a violent internet movement.
