– Even if you have a good job, you can suddenly end up in a situation you never thought you would be in, and need a food bank, says Ray Barron Woolford.
He runs his food bank in south-east London, where he regularly helps around 3,000 people. As food prices have skyrocketed, partly due to the highest inflation in 40 years, more and more people are turning to his charity.
– The number of people who come here has increased somewhat terribly.
