Supporters of End-OF-Life Care Will Come Together May 4 for the Ninth Annual Hike for Hospice.

The Fundraising Event Will Take Place at Mud Creek Trail in Chatham.
“We invite people of all abilies to sign up, collecting pledges and comedher for some family time,” ginny hawken, special events commtite flesh for the chatham-kent hospice foundation, said in a release.
“Participating in Hike for Hospice is a Wonderful Way for People to Remember Their Loved Ones Who Have passed and Honour them by Paying It Forward to Other Families in Chatham-Kent.”
Registration is free with the option to purchase a commemorative t-shirt, or personalized memorial sign featuring the name and photo of a loved one who has passed.
This year’s fundraising goal is $ 150,000, with all money staying in chatham-kent. Before the Event, participants can use the online system or a paper form to collect and track plecl.

On the day of the hike, activities get underway at noon with live music, memorial activities, lawn games and children’s activities. Participants Will Head Out On the Trail at 2 pm
Walkers Are also Welcome to Hike Mud Creek Trail at their convenience Between April 28 and May 3. Memorial Signs will be set up the trail Beginning April 28.
Last Year, The Hike Had A Record-Setting Event, Bringing in $ 167,500, with more than 500 people come out.
