High school students must help the energy company with biodiversity

The project is a test where different seed mixtures were sown in some of the spaces, between rows of solar cells, which will contribute to biological diversity. The idea is to bring out more benefits for places with solar cells and wind turbines – which claim more and more land.

In the fall, new students, together with teachers in the horticultural education, will plan additional areas for the project, which they will then follow during their three-year education.

– We hope that next spring will be fully established here, says Helen Wikström.
