High school in Västerås loses its permit

The school had 158 students in the past academic year, and the decision – if it stands – means that those who applied to or would have continued at the school in the coming academic year must be offered a place at another school.

The School Inspectorate withdraws the permit because the school’s ownership and management circle is deemed unsuitable. It is about financial mismanagement in both the parent company and subsidiaries.

Västerås Citygymnasium AB has the opportunity to appeal the decision.
