What else can you do to prevent problems? Installers give the following tips:
– Perform timely maintenance. Most central heating boilers require maintenance every two years. By carrying out maintenance on time, you ensure that the boiler continues to operate energy-efficiently and safely.
– Consider concluding a maintenance contract. Do you find it difficult to remember that your boiler needs to be serviced? Then conclude a maintenance contract. Then you no longer have to worry about it yourself because the maintenance company will take care of it.
– Bleed the radiators. It is important to bleed the radiators and pipes every now and then. This reduces noise and prevents high energy consumption.
– Fill the boiler. A central heating boiler needs sufficient pressure to function properly. The advice is to keep the pressure between 1.5 and 2.0 bar. If the pressure is lower than 1.5 bar, the boiler must be refilled.
