The Elder Scrolls Online is no fun with cheaters. Today, Whit Monday, June 6th, the new expansion High Isles starts – but more than 400 players of the MMORPG will not be allowed to start the new chapter with their usual accounts. Because a few days before the release, ESO pulls out the big shovel and bans over 400 accounts for cheating. At the moment the servers at ESO are down anyway.

ESO bans over 400 people for cheating ahead of High Isles launch
For whom is this nothing today?? On June 3rd, The Elder Scrolls Online published a post. Community Manager Jessica Folsom shared (via forum):
We recently identified and banned over 400 accounts for violating our Cheating Terms of Service. Specifically in the area: Manipulation of the game client in an unintentional way through the use of third party cheat programs.
We would like to remind everyone that manipulation of the game client is strictly forbidden. Also using unapproved third party apps, programs, scripts and other things that modify mechanics that are in game and alter gameplay.
Folsom also mentions that all players who were banned received a message about it. You would also have the option to appeal the ban or contact the developers.

This is how the games reactr: The wave of bans has triggered a discussion in the forum (via forums.elderscrolls) as to whether the popular addon “Reshade” is also affected. The players would like a clear announcement from the developers here: At the moment, this is still pending.
The way the post is worded, it is obvious that the cheaters are using bots, which visibly plague many MMORPGs.
