HIFK’s Petr Kodytek kicked Ässi’s Peter Tiivola with a skate after the end of Saturday’s match.
The Czech striker of IFK Helsinki Petr Kodytek is threatened with a ban in the men’s hockey league. After the league match against Äss on Saturday, Kodytek was sentenced to two 5+20 minute penalties for unsportsmanlike behavior and kicking an opponent.
The league said that it had taken the situations to its disciplinary delegation for consideration. Kodytek kicked Ässie during the final handshakes Peter Tiivolaa.

Kodytek moved to HIFK from Ilves for this season. The Czech center has scored 3+21 power points in 35 matches of the season.
HIFK played on Saturday in Pori without their captain Ilari Melartiawho was banned for two matches by the League. Melart tackled the team from Tampere in the Ilves match on Friday Erik Borgia on. Defender Melart is also on the sidelines for HIFK’s next match.
