Hide this Beauty that I cannot see by Bertrand Naivin

Beauty with a capital B is no longer in vogue. In the cinema, we will see Me, ugly and wicked. At RFI, as in many companies, the contest for the ugliest Christmas sweater is launched in December. The assumed ugly is a response to decades of hyperaestheticism, considered dehumanizing. This is the subject of the France Book of the week. Bertrand Naivin, art and media theorist, is the author of Hide this Beauty that I cannot see!
