Continuing the repetitive hand, wrist and elbow movements in the same posture to the degree of addiction, joint Pain and numbness are the most common patient problems. he said.
“IT ALSO EFFECTS ON BRAIN FUNCTIONS”
Emphasizing that it is possible to treat diseases that occur due to excessive use of mobile phones, Hastürk said that the most important treatment here is to reduce the degree of addiction.
Stating that surgical treatment is required for severe cases, Prof. Dr. Hastürk shared the following information:
“The use of mobile phones, especially in work or social environments, also affects brain functions. Many studies have already proven this. Its effect is especially clear on stress, tension, insomnia, headaches and distraction, which we call psycho-social. Of course, it also affects some brain functions such as Alzheimer’s.” Its effect on diseases affecting the brain or some benign brain tumors is still being debated.
As the degree of use of earphones, which we call radiofrequency, increases, the prevalence of such functions, especially stress, tension, headaches and attention disorders, increases in society. Especially in young people, failure in schools and classes causes distraction, and in the middle and older age group, memory problems lead to forgetfulness. In fact, in recent publications, it is reported that it causes serious neurological diseases such as Alzheimer’s.” (AA)
