Lebanon’s Iran-backed Islamist militia Hezbollah is warning that it will take revenge on Israel after the air raid on the Syrian capital Damascus, in which several senior figures in Iran’s Revolutionary Guard were killed.
“Of course, this crime will not pass without punishment and revenge being inflicted on the enemy,” Hezbollah said in a statement.
Israel has not confirmed that it was behind the attack, but the official Israeli Army Radio reported on the raid.
