American television channel CBS announced that they interviewed the planner of the attack in which pagers and walkie-talkies were detonated and recently retired Mossad members. CBS shared a short episode of the program called “60 Minutes”, which will air tomorrow, on its social media account.
THE PLAN STARTED IN 2022
In the post, it was stated that Mossad received information that Hezbollah purchased pagers from a company called Gold Apollo in Taiwan in 2022.
Thereupon, it was stated that Mossad started working on how to place bomb devices on pagers.
While it was stated in the post that the information provided by the former Mossad agent regarding the attack plan would be included in the program to be broadcast tomorrow, no further details were included.
2 THOUSAND 800 PEOPLE WERE INJURED
On September 17, simultaneous explosions occurred on pagers used by Hezbollah members in Lebanon. In the explosions, 12 people, including two children, died and approximately 2,800 people were injured, about 300 of them seriously.
As a result of the explosion of many radios in the country on September 18, 25 people died and more than 450 people were injured.
He pointed out the Hungarian partner of the Taiwan-based Gold Apollo company, a company named “BAC Consulting KFT”, as the company that produced the detonated pagers.
In the news in the New York Times, it was written that Israel established a front company for the attack.
Officials who spoke to the newspaper and whose names were not disclosed said that BAC Consulting KFT (BAC Consulting Ltd) was “established by Israel as a shell company.”
