Hezbollah: Dozens of missiles fired at Ramat David airbase in Israel | News in brief

According to the Israeli army, about ten rockets were launched from Lebanon, most of which have been repelled.

Early on Sunday morning, Hezbollah said that it had targeted dozens of missiles at the Ramat David air base in northern Israel.

The extremist organization says on the messaging service Telegram that the attack was a response to “Israel’s repeated attacks on Lebanon”. It says it used a new missile type for the first time in the attack.

According to the Israeli army, about ten rockets were launched from Lebanon, most of which have been repelled. The Israeli media reports that the rockets fired from Lebanon would have been repelled in the Haifa and Nazareth regions.

According to Israeli rescue authorities, one man was slightly injured by shrapnel from a missile fired from Lebanon.
