Hezbollah commander killed in airstrike

According to the statement, it concerns a man born in 1969, and a Lebanese military source told AFP that the man was the highest-ranking member of Hezbollah killed since the war broke out between Israel and the terror-labeled Hamas in Gaza.

Three more people are said to have been killed in the raid.

Israel and the Iranian-backed Lebanese Hezbollah have shelled each other almost daily since the Gaza war began as a result of Hamas’ terrorist attack on Israel in October. On Tuesday night, at least five people were killed when Israeli warplanes struck targets deep inside Lebanon. According to Israel, Hezbollah was the target of the raid.
