Hezbollah attacked northern Israel | News in brief

Lebanon says Israel killed three rescue workers in an attack on southern Lebanon on Saturday.

The extremist organization Hezbollah says it launched a rocket attack on a village in northern Israel in retaliation for Israel’s attack on southern Lebanon on Saturday.

According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, three rescue workers were killed in the Israeli attack. In addition, according to the ministry, two people were wounded in the attack on the fire truck.

The ministry said rescue workers had been putting out a fire caused by an earlier Israeli strike.

Hezbollah and Israel have fired at each other in the border area almost daily since the Gaza war began more than eleven months ago.
